We made this work by screwing it directly into the wall through the wood, but the wood is warped so it couldn’t be hung on the holes in the back since it doesn’t sit flush against the wall. I love how it looks and it’s very sturdy this way. I may have hung it this way anyway, which is why I didn’t return it. It’s in a boys bathroom where they are not gentle with their towel hanging techniques, so I needed it to be sturdy. It’s really pretty - warped wood was the only issue, which is not an issue with the way we installed it.Great product. Hold a new sweaters, jacket and small purses/bags. Love it!Comes ready to hang. Nice quality shelf .Not as sturdy as I thought an all wood product would be. Finished rubbed off on one unit on the shelf and the finish marred in the other on one hook. But the overall look is nice. Nice improvement to the mud room. I did not install according to directions. I countersunk 2 screws though the entire unit into wall studs then painted the screw heads to match.It’s really cute. Does the job and looks great as well.Shelf was very basic and the stain that they used was not very well put on. Looked like they tried to rush the stain on it. The shelf is just cedar wood and not very good craftsmanship, for paying 70.00. I returned mine.For almost $40 I would have expected a little better quality. Hooks are not even screwed in straight. Would not recommend!The wife loves it. Gave us the room we needed for the things we wanted to use it for.
