I actually bought this for my baby’s room to place her monitor on! It’s the perfect size and doesn’t take over the whole wall! I like this because it makes my monitor versatile and gives me the ability to move it around or take it with me places. Perfect little shelf!I ordered two of these units. One did not come with the mounting hardware.I ordered the small shelves. They look great. However, in the instruction booklet it lists 3 wooden pegs to be used. There were only 2. I don't see how 3 could be used, but then the instructions aren't as clear as I would like, plus they are in very small print.Following the rest of the installation instructions was fairly easy except that the last wooden peg seems to need to be inserted into both the wall the shelf is hanging from and the back of the vertical support for the shelf. Which looks good in the booklet, but doesn't seem to work. The main support for the shelf is a screw with a drywall anchor which fits into a keyhole on the vertical support, but it didn't seem possible to use both the screw in keyhole (supports weight) and wooden peg (stabilizes or prevents the shelf from twisting on the wall). It's a rigging I've seen before, but doesn't seem to work so well here because the keyhole is just cut into the wooden vertical support instead of being fashioned from brass or steel (which are thinner and might allow for better maneuvering of the shelf/screw/keyhole/wooden peg) and fitted into the vertical support.If I've attempted installation incorrectly, I hope someone will set me straight. Just didn't seem to make total sense.Purchased this mini shelf to hold a cordless phone in the kitchen. The holes were not drilled as they appear in the video. Installation was difficult - especially when trying to put the shelf into the top screw and bottom wooden dowel - had to use tape to stop it from wriggling from side to side. Other than that . . .I loovee how these shelves turned out in my bathroom. They are so classic and clean looking. The wood itself is pretty durable and sturdy, but for some reason had trouble with getting the long shelf to sit right up against the wall. I also have to be careful with whatever I place on the small shelves since there was only one screw to put each small shelf in and I don’t want them to tip over. However, I don’t imagine I will be moving things off and on of them often so I don’t think it will be a problem. Other than those two things, I love these shelves and would recommend them.The product is incorrectly manufactured and missing pieces. If you watch the installation video, a KEY aspect is that there need to be TWO elongated slots on the triangular piece, one that you slip over the head of the screw to hang the shelf on the wall and another slot just below that holds a wooden pin to keep the shelf from rotating and dumping anything you put on the shelf onto the floor. However, when I got mine, the elongated slot for the wooden peg was just a HOLE, not an elongated slot, so the shelf is impossible to install on the wall, as others have said in their review. I fixed mine by drilling out the lower hole so that I could put in a new screw from the front. I drove that new screw into a wall stud so now the shelf is nice and secure. That's pretty easy, but if you don't want to alter this piece then don't buy it. As delivered it cannot be safely hung on the wall.Product could be greatly improved by using separate mounting brackets or pins.We tried to install this shelf, but my husband's drill broke. It is necessary to have the drill to get this installed. My son-in-law brought his drill over and had it installed quickly. It is very sturdy
